Migraines

I suffer Massive Migraines triggered by heat or hot weather. These migraines will induce nausea and vomiting and can last in the upwards of 12 hours. The pain in located behind the eyes and quickly becomes debilitating. I am a 50 year old female, weighs 130, 5'11 tall, menopausal since histerectomy 10 years ago, no drinking, no smoking, lean diet. When ambient temparatures reache 80 degrees I quickly lose my ability to cool down. My skin turns red and my body swells up. At this point it too late to do anything. The migraines take over and I can no longer drink fluids because of the nausea. These symptoms are occuring more frequently than ever, especially with the summer getting under way.I have seen an internist and endocinologist without any success. I am trying to understand these symptoms before seing a neurologist. Could this be TIA? I would really appreciate your medical oppinions and advice.
Thank you,
Julia

Have you explored the possibility of MS?

Thank you for your reply. To answer your question, no I never did. I used to have optic symptoms (blurred or double vision, red-green color distortion, or even blindness in one eye) associated with those described above until two years ago. For some reason, after refraining from drinking coffee or any caffeine products the optic symptoms ceased.
