Migrains and ear eaches and spsams in the head

I have been dignocied with migraines and I have also have what they call NueroCardioGenic Syncope, I have been placed on Proponal (Generic for Inderal) 20mlg. Anything else was to strong for my blood pressure. My questions is can my migraines be causing my ears to hurt? My ears only hurt when I have a migraine. Also My other question is is can it also cause spasams in the back of my head and on the side where my migraine starts?  I take the medication once daily to help with the syncope and for Migraines but it seems to do nothing for my migraines and they last for days at a time and it seems once I get rid of them they come back 4-5 hours later. It is very disrutive and I can't seem to concentrate on anyone thing. I am concerned that there is another issue.Any suggestions on what can be done to help keep the migraines away? I don't drink caffine I drink lots of water, And I don't eat fatty foods, My diet constits of mainly Baked chicken and corn or green beans and I do exercise. For fun I ride my motorcyle. That is the back round on me. I also have lost about 20-30lbs within the last year or so. Hope this information helps. Thanks

Sorry for the misspelling of your name earier and I want to say Thank you for awnering my quetion so soon. When I am in pain I get a little cranky. I do appologize, When my pcp brought down the dosage I wasen't having near the problem as I am right now, I did however remeber today that I have what they call a stair step neck and I have heard that It could cause migraines, So I got with my insurance company today and found a chiropractor and I have an appointment with them. My Migraines are still in full force and It's hard to get ride of them when you can't take anything with acedomeifine. I think I misspelled that but I think you know what I am trying to spell out. I am hoping that the visit to the chiropractor can help with the Migraines. If not I am going to see if there is anything else I can take for the Migraines. I don't like to take medications if I don't have to. Thank You againe for the quick response. Have a nice night. Bikemom

The proponal is for my NueroCardioGenic Syncope My blood Pressure is not a concern anymore They had me on to strong a doage at first which brought my bp down way to low.  The spasams I am having are actually in my head. I am just concerned that's all. I try to stay in a good health but the migraines are so disruptive. I can't take Excedrine for migrains or tylonal, Doc told me to stay away from those. So I have been talking Motrine and it dosen't do any good. I try and go on with my day with the migraines, I have 2 kids and gotta keep up with them and my husband who just had Hurnia surgery. My mom took the kids for about 5 day's so that I didn't have to care for them, I get them back today. So busy day is at hand. And Migraines working Over Time.

Absolutely yes, you can have ear pain associated with migraines.  The same is true for neck spasms.  Have you told your doctor that the propranolol is not helping the migraines?  There are many other medications which are not also blood pressure meds that you can try in addition to it.
