Mild Cord impingement treatment

Mild Cord impingement treatment

I have been diagnosed at c6-7 with a subligamentous slightly eccentric to the right but mostly central extrusion.  This could be related to recent acute trauma.  This is causing a central canal stenosis and mild cord impingement with the central canal measuring about 9 to 10 mm.  There is right greater than left foraminal narrowing as a result. No malalignment is seen. The remaining levels including c7, T1 and T1-T2 maintain normal signal and height.  No gross paraspinal masses are evident.

The only pain I have is in the neck and shoulders... Muscles are very tight and bunchie.   What treatments are available?  Am I at risk of paralysis? I am a firm believer in "Surgery as a last resort"

Sorry so long..

Thanks :)
