Mild parsonage turner/brachial neuritis?

Mild parsonage turner/brachial neuritis?

In early December 2009, I woke up with 'tingling' in my hand that was coming from my shoulder. I could feel this much. I never described it as pain though, but it was certainly uncomfortable and I tried to wait it off to see what would happen. Fast forward one month. This initial tingling in my hand (I remember it as being ulnar distribution) stopped but I noticed mild shoulder weakness. I still had full active ROM but no longer was I able to pour from a full gallon of milk easily, to give one example. Since this time, I have had near constant discomfort in my shoulder. For a while it hung a little lower and that has improved noticeably. My shoulder still feels weak although not as weak, and I have noticed even milder symptoms in my hand/wrist. It is also my belief that the left side has been effected, but not nearly as much. I have had popping in my elbow, wrist, and shoulder that has gone down in frequency since 7 months ago (same with left side). I also have fatigue with overhead motions (driving with right arm feels very weird, reading while laying down causes my shoulders to fatigue very quickly. Now, it is very hard to judge improvement since this is such a long period but I am wondering if this could be brachial neuritis? I mean, there was never trauma. I saw a shoulder specialist who denied any winging (he never had me push off anything though) and I am sure I feel my scapula all the time. It is my belief that I have mild winging, and if not then I have atrophy. Anatomically my shoulder does NOT feel the same, although again there have been improvements. When I push off the wall with my hands at waist level, my right scapula does wing.

Basically, I would say I am 40% or 50% better than when this all started. It is my belief that this is a mild variation of Parsonage Turner syndrome because nothing else fits the billing at all. My one concern is that there was very little or no pain initially, just that tingling feeling in my hand. Any thoughts?

I forgot to add that I have gone through some extensive physical therapy with little noticeable improvement. This has been the main thing that makes me believe this is all neurological.
