I found out about the permanent devastating neurological effects that Reglan can cause and eye twitching is one of them. My infant son was prescribed this dangerous med when he was diagnosed with GERD. He experienced extrapyramidaI effects while taking this medication. I would recommend you research the med as well. The FDA has stressed extreme caution to physicians prescribing this medication due to its permanent and sometimes debilitating effects. It usage is recommended only for 9 weeks tops after that the PCP should observe any side effects that Reglan produces, Dystonic reactions, Tardive Dyskinesia, Tardive Akinesia to name a few of its permanent debilitating effects with prolonged use. It is also recommended that this medication not be stopped completely if taken for an extended amount of time the medication should be weaned gradually but this is something you should discuss with your PCP. Also, were you educated on the effects of this medication by your PCP before you agreed to take it? You might want to look up "informed consent" is you weren't. I hope you look into this immediately it is a dangerous drug.
