Misplaced Buttock Injection - GREAT DISCOMFORT - Please Help!

I really do need some help.

As a keen weight-lifter, I incured some shoulder pain.
Despit much effort, the pain continued.

To cut a long story short - I obtained a supply of 'Deca-Durabolin' (Nandralone) to see if it would help.

I injected it into my right buttock.(this was over a year ago)

For a year, I've been suffering from severe 'nerve-like' discomfort in my right buttock and I now realise that the injections may very well be the cause of this.

My questions are:

*What should I do?
*What can be done for me?

I'd really appreciate some help and good advice.

There is NO PAIN, but there is profound discomfort.

Hi:  I work in Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital,  Baltimore,  MD.  We see a lot of the "Injection" patients who have chronic "discomfort/pain."  It is quite unclear what happened a year ago.  What is clear, is that you need to seek medical attention.  Your workup should include a trip to your PCP or a neurologist, diagnostic testing - MRI of pelvic area vs. plain pelvic/hip films; and a trial of pain medication.  This would include tylenol, NSAIDS, Ultram, Toradol.  Physical Therapy is also a good consideratin.  And give it time.  If the above is not effective in relieving the discomfort, then your physicians should undertake a more intense approach to diagnostic work-up and pain management.
