Hi Dr. Abhijeet.Its me again. briefly;47 yrs old woman diagnoised with Temporal Arteritis in Nov07.Have two cataracts prier to illness.Having a lot of trouble with medication (Prednisolone).I have been on60mls for six weeks and now down to 30mgs for the last six weeks.My dr has told me that I must get it down to 5mgs but Im confused by this. When I go below30mgs daily the headache,eye pain and the "sensation" come back. Which is more dangerous? The return of symptoms or the damage caused by the steroids?If I come down to 25 I have to take painkillers.Also, I havnt had any blood tests since Dec 12 07. He says next time will do but never get there.From what Ive read it should be more often? Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully reply.cath278
