Muscel spasams

I am under supervision and treatment for Breast Cancer. I am in remission but still taking Zoledex and Femera for 3 1/2 years now.
I was in an auto accident at 2 an had a sever trauma to the right side of my head and then again at 15 same side. At 18 I was hospitalize with unexplained neck movement they said to be a seizure (unexplained) which lasted 3 days. At 27 Hospitalized with complicated migraines which numbed the right side of my body and face.
About 2 years ago I started falling and broke my foot one of the times  (I now own my own walker). When I am tired or week I tend to loose my balance. I noticed one day that my left foot was just flipping in on its own (this happens at night when I am asleep, too). Then I began having spasms in my left leg constantly. I some times have them in my left fore arm as well. I went to the ER when my foot went numb one day and they discovered some thinning in the lower spin. Recently along with the other (I get occasional breaks) I have developed a twitching under my right eye.
I was recently seen by a neurologist because my oncologist suspected MS. I was dismissed and diagnosed with tercel tunnel because when I was shocked on the left leg my foot was numb. My RX is has decreased in the past two years and continues prior to that both eyes had been equally bad. When seen by the podiatrist the left foot was hyper sensitive.  The MRI's have come back clean and the Neurologist dismissed me without the MRI's (oncologist ordered) taking no history. I am frustrated. A few days ago my foot went and I fell down a few steps and banged my self up. I am constantly tired and sleep way to much. I am also very stiff. I have been swimming a mile every other day and this keeps me mobile. Without the swimming I get so stiff and have such spasms I can't stand myself.

Hi,

MS involves multiple symptoms that may be nonspecific when taken by itself. A criteria helps diagnose whether a set of symptoms and imaging results point towards a definite diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis.

Keep us informed regarding your progress.I hope this helps.

Thank you so much for your response. I appreciate your knowledge on the matter. I also remembered another odd thing that has been happening to me for years. When I don't get enough sleep the fount of my head feels very electric... my husband says this is not normal for everyone else. Does this fit with muscular fasciculations or MS?

Thanks again,

Hi,

What you are experiencing may be muscular fasciculations which may be brought about by contraction of a specified group of muscles.Fasciculations may be caused by muscle weakness or denervation as brought about by spine disorders. The thinning of your lower spine may explain your symptoms.

Continue to follow up with your neurologist. Tarsal tunnel syndrome can not explain your eye symptoms. MS still may not be ruled out completely.

Keep in touch.Good luck
