Myelogram fear

I have already had an MRI showing that I have spinal stenosis, arthritis and a bulging disk. I had the epidural injection done last Friday and it didn't do a thing. I hurt more every day and I am becoming less and less mobile. I am having a Myelogram this Friday and I am terrified.
Can anyone offer any suggestions, comments or anything? Please.

myelogram feels about like epidural.After you get home drink all the caffine you can stand.

FIRST HAND ADVICE FROM HAVING MANY SPINALS AND MYELOGRAMS ~~ THE MORE YOU CAN RELAX THE EASIER IT WILL BE ON YOU. HAVING SPINAL STENOSIS, ARACHNOIDITIS AND ARACHNOID CYSTS, I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS MYLEOS. HAVING CONFIDENCE IN THE DR. DOING IT ALSO HELPS! I DON'T THINK IT IS AS BAD AS A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE ~ I GUESS THAT DEPENDS ON YOUR PERSONAL ABILITY TO HANDLE PAIN. THE WORST PART (FOR ME) WAS THE PRESSURE WHEN THE NEEDLE FIRST GOES IN (JUST LIKE W/EPIDURAL) AND I'VE FOUND SLOW DEEP BREATHES HELPS WITH RELAXING - MAKING IT EASIER FOR THE DR. TO WORK. FINDING A COMFORTABLE POSITION TO LAY AFTERWARDS MAY BE A CHALLENGE ~ BUT USUALLY THE PERSON HANDLING YOUR CARE WILL HELP MAKE YOU AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE, IF ASKED.BEST OF LUCK TO YOU AND I HOPE THIS WILL SHOW WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO HELP WITH THE PAIN !!
