I am curious about the Myoclonic Jerk.I jump all night long and have told my Drs about it but,I have been told its because I had back surgury 2yrs ago.I feel so tired in the morning.I was at my brothers house over the weekend and took a nap.My brother and son both told me all I did was jerk the whole time I was sleeping. They have me on atteracks to sleep. It doesn't help. Why won't my body stop jerking and who else should I see?
If the cause of the myoclonic jerks is a systemic illness, such as liver failure, kidney failure, medication side effects or metabolic diseases, appropriate blood tests are required.
Do you feel you have any of these or any other illness?
