Mysterious Neurological Disease - HELP

My 12 year old son had an adverse reaction to a Hepatitis-A vaccine 2 months ago.  He had allergy shots 30 minutes after the shot.  The symptoms started 2 hours later.  It has caused some kind of wierd neurological disease and we can't seem to get a diagnosis.  I placed a post earlier, and someone did reply with a good lead.  However, I need more help from anyone out there that might have an idea.  Here are the symptoms:

Aching in both arms and legs.
Severe burning pain in both arms and legs with movement.
Shooting pains going down arms.
Arms are sensitive to touch.
Cramping in arms and legs.
Stiffness in arm joints.
Tingling in finger tips.
Twitching in arms and legs.
Weakness in arms and legs.

The symptoms are symetrical.  The hospital did a blood test and said the CK level was high.  His reflexes are good.  The only part of his body that is effected are his arms and legs.  He is in pain all of the time.  He is in extreme pain if he tries to walk or even feed himself.  It keeps getting worse.  We've been to 2 hospitals and 2 private neurologists and no one can figure it out.

This is a real diagnosis mystery.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

You might look into ADEM, acute disseminated encephalmyelitis.  My neurologist mentioned this to me as a possibility regarding my own as-yet-undiagnosed condition.  It's an MS-like episode but a one-time-only thing, not progressive or chronic.  My neuro said that it is more common in children than adults and often follows vaccination or viral infection.   Good luck!

I am not sure, but I suffer from RSD (reflex sympathic dystophy)  my onset was a result of an injury, which requried surgery, but through reading I have found things as simple as having a tooth exracted can be this, maybe the needle hit a nerve.  Its worth checking out, and to let you know its a very conterversial issue, so I suggest you go to someone who is educated in the field I dont know what area you live in, but I just found an awesome doctor after 11 years, maybe you can call his office and get a referral its Dr Oconnell's pain mangement center in Somersworth NH

If the CK is elevated it sounds like myositis (inflammation or breakdown of muscle tissue).  You said you saw 2 neuro's, were they at large, teaching facilities?  If not, I would recommend that.
