Mysterious Symptoms Teen Daughter

About 8 weeks ago my daughter started having fainting spells. She didn't loss consciousness, just kind of blackout and then felt very week. We took her to a pedi-cardiologist and they didn't test her, but based on symptoms diagnosed her with vasovagal syncope. She was put on salt pills and increased fluids. No real success, she continued to have symptoms.  Then this past week, she started having a hard time breathing.  She felt like she couldn't catch her breath. By Thursday evening she had poor color in her face and had no energy. We took her to the ER.  She was put on O2 and immediately perked up, and has had no symptoms what so ever since the O2.   She has had EKGs, chest X-rays, CAT scans, and an ultrasound of her heart - all normal.  Friday her pedi-card noticed that her CK level was high and now he is thinking this whole thing could be asthma.  Any other thoughts?

my sister (almost 16) was first diagnosed with asthma in 7th grade and then had fainting/black out but for 10 seconds tops.  They did the salt thing, no success, EKG ultrasounds CT and braing scans.  Everything seemed fine.  She was put on beta-blockers but those only made the blacking out less, but she still blacked out. To this day we dont know what is wrong with her.
