Mystery nerve pain: what does this sound like it could be & what should I do next?

Hey everyone,

I'm a very healthy 28 year old man who has had mystery nerve issues since November/December 2015. The first few months I ignored the symptoms thinking they were fleeting, as time has gone on I have grown more concerned due to the consistency of which I have been experiencing them. Here are the symptoms:

-Stinging and tingling in the thighs, buttocks, knees, calves, ankles, or bottom of both feet. Especially noticeable while sitting. Some days it is for the whole day, sometimes for part of the day hen disappears, some stretches I'll go days or a week without any symptoms, sometimes very uncomfortable if not painful, sometimes noticeable but not painful. Feels like random little electric shocks, or prickling. Happens an average of 2-4 days/week.

-Sometimes experience sharp shooting pain in toes (especially big toes). ~1-3x’s month.

-Hands and arms go dead in middle of night if I sleep with my head in arms (was not like this in past). I would wake up and it would take a while for feeling to come back.

-Hands and feet get very sweaty and cold on a regular basis.

Back in April 2016 I was experienxing these symptoms but they were very pronounced on my left side. I went in to my PCP and they determined that it was sciatica. I took NSAIDS and did stretches, and as time went on the sciatica - the increased symptoms on one side - subsided. With that said, even though it is not as painful on one side anymore, I get these sensations still on both sides.

I got an EMG for both legs back in July 2016 with normal results. I've had numerous blood tests ordered by the neurologist my PCP referred me to, and those all came back with normal results (all indicate that I am very healthy). I have had a biometric screening and all of my numbers are very good (i.e., normal blood sugar levels, cholesterol, not a risk for diabetes, etc.). Now I am scheduled for a MRI on my lower back in a couple of weeks, but I do not experience any back or lower back issues whatsoever -- all of my sensations occur in my legs.

It's just really exhausting guys. I'm having to constantly experience these symptoms and yet still I have no idea what's going on. My neurologist referred me to the OSU Neurological Institute but I don't meet with them until May (https://wexnermedical.osu.edu/neurological-institute).

What do you guys think could be possible issues given everything I've shared? Also, do you think it makes sense to do the MRI, or should I just hold off on it until I meet with the Chair of the Neurology Department at Ohio State (which is who they scheduled me with at the institute)? Any and all help, insight, advice, or even follow up questions you can provide are greatly appreciated!
