Nausea possibly caused by cervical disc?

Nausea possibly caused by cervical disc?

Could a cervical disc be the source of these numerous symptoms? Nausea(very bad in AM-continues thru day),leg weakness(esp steps),hand/arm strength diminished,neck pain,abdominal pain,also some off balance especially on turning or with eyes closed,and also constant burping-from everything even water(This is something I did not have before the nausea started).I also get a burning in the stomach when it is empty. I eat even a cracker or 2 and it is better,but also cannot eat alot because get a feeling of being full quickly.I have had ct scan & ultrasound of abdomen/stomach and both were normal except for small hiatal hernia.No stomach meds seem to work(zantac,nexium,aciphex etc)for the nausea.Cannot sleep longer than 4 hrs-nausea wakes me up.Had surgery 9/2001 2 discs (I think c4-5)replaced.Problem getting steadily worse as days go by.Been seeing Dr.'s approx 2 months now.Should I tell them to check the neck with an MRI or x-ray or something?Family Dr sent me to Gastrointestinal Dr. Do you have any idea what could be causing this wide range of symptoms? Thanks for any help you can offer.

A cervical disc problem would not explain all of your symptoms. The neck/arm pain and your weakness may be explained by a neck problem, and if these are new since the surgery you should discuss this with your surgeon. The stomach complaints due not sound neurologic. I would agree with starting with a GI doctor. Good luck.
