I have posted here before and have gotten some help from the ZofranZofran Zofran odt but it is not enough to controlControl Control rx the dystonic spams although it controlsControl Control rx the more severe myoclonic and respiratory spasmsCoronary artery spasm Croup Eyelid twitch Facial tics Hand or foot spasms Urge incontinence Vascular spasm and the dissociation from what is being identified as tardive psychosisPsychosis (this is being studied by a research neurologist, my recoveryRecovery position - series from schizoaffective with glutamate antagonists in study is confirmed and psychiatrist agreed the psychosis was from the tardive conditions, my journal entries describe it). I have tried all medications available that I am aware of including the standards: Requip, Baclophen, Mirapex and Aricept and they have not worked. Tetrabenzene has been ruled out because of its potential for creating depression. I would appreciate a link to a medical website that is current that has all medications that are being used or in study for tardive dyskinesia or psychosis from Parkinsons' (since the Zofran is being studied for that and was helpful in me on what is being tentatively called tardive psychosis, its likely others will be). Most likely, if some are experimental you may not be familiar with them but my psychopharmocologist would certainly be willing to look them up and try them on me if he feels they have a potential for efficacy (he works together with my neurologist). The lists I have found online on medications for tardive dyskinesia were outdated often by a decade. If there is a link that perhaps only a physician would understand that would be fine. I can bring it to their attention. Its just that the dystonic spasms are so severe that I am homebound and hardly able to sleep at night and in agonizing pain and since they occur all over my body my neurologist has ruled out Botox as an option. I would appreciate any information you can give.
