Optical migraines about once a year, leaving me weak.
BP  from 87/66  to 110/82. (I am very inactive)-why the  fluctuations?
Resting pulse is ususally 85, but on occasion for no reason resting it will drop to 60s. Usual is 85.
My vision is blurred off and on with or without glasses
I can not tolerate exercise. I get feeling like I have the flu, feverish, and weak, only I dont get fevers
A fever for me is 99, but its rare for that. I have had infections and no fevers. (kidney, uti, sinus)
I have always gotten run down really easily. Sore throats etc...
I lost most of my hair and the doctors kept telling me my iron was good, but finally someone said my ferritin was too low. I took iron and now 9 months later, I have normal hair again.
I have balance issues and this sensation of falling and this really bizarre sensation that happens in my head, but this has only been since quitting a drug I was on. The sensation is a terrible pressure, so severe, not pain, just horrid and its on the right side and effects my right eye as well.
I have had an MRI, Ct scan, and have had blood work and seen an ENT.
I am very leery of going to a neurologist because they are so limited here. It seems here everyone is diagnosed with MS, and if you dont have MS, they dont have any idea and they drug people iwth antidepressants.
Can you susggest any possiblities for me to reasearch and or suggest a specific type of doctor to see?
I am seeing a cardiologist for the heart rythm issues, but I havent been able to approach the pb issues because they get you in and out of their super fast, and all hes interested in is the pvcs. We have a shortage of cardioloigsts here.
I really need some info. I am deteriorating. I had another near faint episode recently and am wearing a heart monitor. Is it hear or brain? I have no idea.

Thanks for using the forum. I am happy to address your questions, and my answer will be based on the information you provided here. Please make sure you recognize that this forum is for educational purposes only, and it does not substitute for a formal office visit with a doctor.

Without the ability to examine and obtain a history, I can not tell you what the exact cause of the symptoms is. However I will try to provide you with some useful information.

It is hard to say if your syncope or presyncope is cardiac or neurological. Based on the information you provided it seems most consistent with a cardiac problem and a cardiologist would be the most appropriate for an opinion.

Headaches can present with unusual symptoms, but without further information about your headache, it is difficult to provide you with adequate information. However, it is important for you to understand that if you have not experienced headaches in the past and you are now having new head pains, seeing a neurologist is a good idea, just to make sure there is nothing serious causing this pain. Imaging of the brain and sometimes then neck may be indicated depending on your exact symptoms, your physical examination, and other factors.

I do have to mention that stress and anxiety can have symptoms such as heart palpitations, muscle tension, fatigue, nausea, chest pain, shortness of breath, headaches, and GI symptoms such as diarrhea to name a few.

I agree following up with cardiology is important. If you have not worn an extended cardiac monitor (e.g., 14-21 days), it may be worthwhile to do so.

Thank you for this opportunity to answer your questions, I hope you find the information I have provided useful, good luck.
