F.Y.I Had My Appointment also did a MRA He advised MS is still needing to be ruled out due to my problems moving around and affecting other areas Feet, Jaw, Legs, Fingers, Etc also ordered some bloodwork Anti NMO IgG---Lupus Panel---P-ANCA----C-ANCA----SMA-8 and told me to stay on the Topamax and Xanax Follow-up on 12-1-08 unless Testing reveals something earth shattering.
Has not done a Spine MRI, Dont want to ask for one if no need, could all of this the Inner Ear and Tingling be all left over from The EBV
2nd MRI(Brain) came back good as well any thoughts on what to ask my Nuero on my follow-up appointmeny as to whats up with my problems??
Thanks I have been at this a year now and have not got very far just very broke. Hope to find some sort of answer soon. My Nuero has said it was probable due to my EBV (Post Viral) MRI With/Without Contrast 2-day we shall see.
I have been posting on here for 7 years now. My problems all started after I was diagnosed with chronic EBV because of my high levels. I had no mono symptoms at the time just nausea, ear pain and insomnia. After I started feeling a little better and the nausea went away I started with neuro problems, facial tingling, leg and upper back. And I know exactly what you say by brain freeze, I get this and also the same feeling on my face. I have had 4 brain MRIs, with contrast, each a year apart. 2 complete spinals, a ton of blood work, EMGs, upper GI series, etc.... Everything is normal, but I still have these symptoms. I hope that you get the root of your problem. Oh BTW, I posted alot of my symptoms by the name of "Jenny Wren." I haven't posted in a while, but if you search that name you will find alot of my postings. Hope you get better soon.
Good Luck, Jenny Wren
Will be having another MRI with and without contrast Tomm. Nuero wants to compare and check for any problems with my Brain
Also How long will it take to cure??
Have had one MRI back in April without contrast have another with contrast Monday Brain only should my Nuero be doing a Spine as well
Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
It is important to undergo MRI of the brain and spine to rule out demyelinating lesions of the spinal cord and brain which can cause these very symptoms. EBV is known to cause vestibular neuronitis or inflammation of the inner ear nerve.

Please discuss with your treating doctor the usefulness of an MRI exam in your case.
Let us know if you need more information.
Tingling has included legs and ankles (Face area)
Really need a thought on this
