patchesAllergy testing
Skin color - patchy of numbness on both legs (not complete, just reduced sensitivity and around my right eye and into my face, strong pain behind my eyes and particularly my right eye, muscle twitching all over, periods of deep pain down my entire right arm and numb-like sensation without total loss of feeling, involuntary jerking of various muscles/limbs especially when relaxed, strong tingling in both legs and arms, arm/leg muscles that feel weak after some exertion (like holding a book for a brief period of time), a light degree of clumsiness such as bumping into things not quite touching things I'm aiming for unless I'm really paying attention, and headaches, especially in the morning. I have no history of migraines, high blood pressure, strokes, heart problems etc. The neurologist said MS "wasn't likely" come back in 6 months. He said he couldn't explain the symptoms, though. Does this seem like MS or not?

I too am very frustrated, scared, etc. about waiting for 6 months. 6 additional months will make it just about a year since symptoms started. For right now, my worst symptoms are the dizziness and limb weakness. (By the way I am 38yrs. old)
I've gone thru the lumbar puncture (neg), SERS & VERS (abnormal)
ENG (abnormal) so something is wrong-I just wished they would NAME IT and atleast I can have my breakdown, then pull up my boots, and deal!
I have an appt. with a Neuro Opthamilogist on the 29th for the Nystagmus thing (again don't know what this implicates)I suppose I may understand more at this time. I HOPE!
My prayers are with you and you are not in this alone.

Since last yr. had finger numbness&tingling.Dr xrayed neck, said throatic outlet syn.Born with extra rib in neck.I,then went&had EMG,done;told Ulnar nerve entrapment at elbow. Then,I had MRI to prove I didnt have MS,it was normal. Now,since I was wearing a heavier Watch, for few days;My upper wrist feels half numb&tingling.Like the watch is still on,me.Fingers, feel like frostbite(last 2)This,feeling for over a yr.I,don't know if it's PN. or Pareshtesia,or just Ulnar problem.Any idea's. Pat
I am in the same boat you are. I have had MRI's of the brain, C-spine, T-spine, and L-spine. Gone through the EMG testing, multiple blood tests, LP to check spinal fluid, and now going though the EMG process one more time...and to add insult to injury...my panic attacks are roaring to where I cannot go to public places...
All my MS related tests have been negative...my C-spine showed a bulging disc towards the spinal cord. My Neuro says this is not causing my symptoms:
Numb left arm and left foot... feeling trapped and a litlle hopeless myself...but I am getting a secon opinion from a neuro surgeon on my bulging disc.

Almost exactly a year later -June 2005, i was working and had another similar "attack." Couldn't speak, confused, couldn't move. Electrical-like shocks darted through my body. uncoordinated and unbalanced. Went to ER and was told i had either migraines or panic attack.
Since the last attack my right arm has been in excrutiating pain. Pain alternates between my fingers, hand, forearm and shoulder. comes and goes. Pain in right leg. Have days where i am uncoordinated and have weird head symptoms.
Dr.s are stumped (and i have someof the "best" New York Dr.s around) They say they have never seen all of these unusual symptoms and have basically given up on trying to diagnose me. I feel like i have not been taken too seriously and am frustrated. I am always afraid of having another attack.
Had brain mri which reads "2 punctate foci of FLAIR-hyperintensity in the right frontal subcortical white matter and at the junction of the right external capsule and anterior limb of the internal capsule represeent nonspecific findings."
Does anybody know what these results mean? Dr. said these are tiny tiny lesions and did not come to any diagnosis or conclusion because of it.
