Need a diagnosis for my mom

Hello -

I am writing as I am worried about my mother who has yet to get a diagnosis. She is 46 years old and is experiencing some odd things. Pretty often she experiences tremors and blurred versions. Also, every few days, she has very forgetful days where she forgets her phone number or her number or cannot write. Other days she is just fine and functions normally with a job and children. She has hyperthyroidism, has suffered from postpartum depression in the past, but otherwise seems healthy. She is active and has a healthy BMI. Doctors have been testing her for Parkinsons and MS but do not think that their is a possibility.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? I am worried that my young, active mother is losing her independence. I feel that she has gone through many tests and nothing seems to be conclusive. Thanks a lot!

I forgot to mention that she also has trouble sleeping. Lately she has been getting no more than 3 hours a night until her doctor prescribed her ambien.

Oh, she also has leg pain, some days she doesn't want to stand much. I know that is a lot of symptoms. I am not even sure if they all would go together.
