Nerve Injury from IV..?

I had an IV on 11/10/2009, it took the nurse serval tries to get it in. The IV was placed in the arm crease (sorry, don't know what it's called). After she got it in, it kind of hurt, but I wasn't too worried about it. I thought once it was removed it would go away. Well, it's been about 3.5 months since the IV & the exact area where the IV was inserted still aches. I'm a 22 year old female. I was wondering if I should go to the doctor b/c of this. The only conclusion I've come up w/is that's nerve damage from the IV. I don't have health insurance. Please help. Thanks.
