Nerve Testing results

Nerve Testing results

After a Bad car accident i had 2 surgeries on my neck. I had discectimy of C4-C5 &c5-C6, and fusion with doner bone. The second was ti remove a missed piece. After the Operations i had pain in Left arm and leg constantly and pain in right side on and off. Slowly the pain had grown, and so has the weakness, tingling, loss of hand movemnt, and the inability for  me to function properly.
I went to a neuroligist where they did EMG and NVT testing (i hope i have names right)
One they shocked at 2 seperate points and took readings, and the othe rthey stuck a needle into my muscle. The results were negative. However, that doesnt explain the pain and weakness i have an dthe ever growing inability to walk and pick up items.

My question is do these test show if there was damage to my spinal cord or the nerves in my spinal cord? Or do they show if the issue was in my hand or arm?

On a second visist to the neorologist he aid the issue was in my neck. However he refused to answer the previous question. I am on workers comp and i would lik eto do all that i can to get better ASAP i just need to figure out exactly what is going on here.
