Nerve and Muscle Questions

by Achilles84, Aug 12, 2009 05:37PM
Hi there,

just a few questions for anyone who considers himself qualified enough to answer:

Beside an EMG are there any reliable tests to montior nerve and muscle activity?

If one experiences weakness caused by nerve and muscle degeneration it means that already 30-50 % of the muscle are already lost.In that case would an EMG definately show some evidence of that degeneration??

So does a clean EMG in seemingly weak muscles rule out serious nerve or muscle disorders to a certain degree?

thx for your time
