A month ago I was brutally attacked and received deep knife cuts to my neck and hands. After a week in the hospital, I'm recovering at home. Now I have numbness on the lower quarter of my face and jaw up to my ear on one side. I can not control one side of my tongue and mouth, making eating and speaking difficult. I look like someone who has had a stroke.
What physical therapy can I do to help bring back the control and feeling. (I do not have insurance so care is very limited).
