Nerves in Forearm and Wrist affecting whole body.

I've written on here before because I could never figure anything out.  Neither could any of my docs.  I feel like I've had every test under the sun and every single test is

100% normal or better.  It's been 6 months now and I am plagued with various paresthesias across my body, but mostly located in my faces, ears, arms, hands, thighs, and toes.

Sometimes it's just a tingle.  Sometimes it's a shooting pain.

I have had a breakthrough, but it seemingly makes no sense.  I am a computer programmer/designer and I sit at a desk 8-12 hours per day.  I've been doing this for 10 years now.

Out of curiosity two weeks ago, I tried on a pair of carpal tunnel wrist braces.  I never thought of trying that because my nerve pain was systemic and oddly enough, I never

really had any wrist pain ever.  I have every ergonomic feature available to a computer technician so the idea never crossed my mind.

Well, the moment, I mean the instant, I put on the braces most all of my pain went away.  It was like a miracle.  I don't understand it.  And since, when I take them off, the

nerve pain comes back.  It's not a sensory trick.  It truly works.  I can see how it would help my arms and hands from tingling, but I don't know how it could relate to my face?

I did get a new desk about 8 months ago and I noticed that my forearms often rest on the edge.  I also remember that my previous desk had a rounded bull-nose bevel where this

desk has a 90° angle cut, which digs into my forearm all day.

Today, I noticed that while I didn't have any nerve pain in my arms, I was still getting it in my face.  So I picked up my arms from the desk and sure enough, the facial nerve

pain started to fade.  I put them back and the nerve pain came back.  It's like a light switch.

Last week, I went on vacation and didn't touch a desk or table all week.  By the end of the vacation, I didn't have any more pain even without the braces.  Now, back at work 1

week, I need them.

I am pleased that I am finally on to something.  It's been a bit of a nightmare trying to first rule out seemingly every disease, then not being able to figure out what's the

cause the problem.

I guess what's throwing everyone for a loop, myself included, is what does the nerve under my forearm have to do with my face?  My neuro said I can't get tingling in my face

from my arms, but it seems it's so.  And why do the carpal tunnel braces work instantly?  It's all too weird for me, but so far I haven't found a doc who can help.

Any insight would be marvellous! Thank you.

It is not possible for the forearm nerve to affect your face in any way or in any other area of your body.  Your other symptoms have to be caused by something else.
