Dear Michael,
Your symptoms are suggestive of a peripheral neuropathy. The symptoms can present with numbness, tingling, altered pain sensation usually beginning in the feet and progressing up the legs. Once the symptoms reach mid calf toward the knee, the hands become involved. There are multiple reasons for this disorder, including lupus (and it sounds as if you may have had alot of them ruled out with your prior work-up). Some tests that you did not have listed but may be helpful include EMG and nerve biopsy (and if you have not already, a work-up to excluded lupus should be initiated).
