Recently I have been corresponding with an Optometrist who specializes in Neuro-rehabilitation in relation to visual imbalances...etc. The Dr. sent me some information from a Journal on Post Trauma Vision Syndrome (PTVS) and Visual Midline Shift Syndrome (VMSS). The information included a lot of references to neurological vertigo and the effect of brain traumas such as CVA on the focal and ambient visual process. The Dr. has a clinic that works with visual therapy, physical rehabilitation (balance issues and postural issues), and other treatment programs.
Have you had any patients who have benefitted from a neuro-optometric treatment approach when dealing with chronic neurological vertigo? What are your insights into this type of treatment? I appreciate your response!

I would recommend instead you be evaluated by a vestibular rehab specialist.
