Neurological pain

im a 25 year old mother, and everything was normal in my life until summer 2006 when i had stomach cramps and trouble holding myself when i needed to go to the toilet, i went to the doctor and he said i has I.BS without any tests or anything, but because of the symptoms, then last may i was out shopping when i suddenly had a tingling sensation in my head and i tightness in my throat and collapsed, i went to hospital but they could find nothing wrong, for some reason they said i had sleep apneoa and told me to ask my doctor to refer me to the clinic, when i asked her i was ignored, after that i kept having a tightness in my throat, so i went into the medical walk in centre where the doctor there said i might have disphagia, that weekend i got the funny feeling in my head again and my partner who didnt know what to do called an ambulance, when the paramedics came they said my heart was fine, and i was just having a panic attack,
i went to see my doctor on monday morning and he said i was suffering from anxiety and panic attacks and i was put on anti depressants, i satyed on these for a while and the panic eventually calmed down, but then i started to have an awful pain in my right arm liked id pulled a muscle, i went back to the doctor and she said it was anxiety pain, i was having palpatations so she put me on propranalol and increased my anti depressents, i have had 5 ECG's in the last year but my heart was fine ive also had blood tests and they were normal, the muscle cramp got worse and i started getting tingling pins and needles in my right hand, i went back to the doctor and he said i had a trapped nerve in my neck, and gave me some medication to help ease the pain, it didnt. and i went back to the doctors and he said i might have carpal tunnel and reffered me to a speicalist, i was now being treated like i was a hypercondriact and i was being rushed out of the doctors office fobbed off with some water tablets or something to that effect.
By the time i was reffered to the speicalist the pain head crept to my leg and face is was like cramping, and peircing pain. so he sent me to have a nerve conduction study,
But before that time came ( a year had passed now~) the painwas in both sides of my body and i was getting exscrutiating pain in the left side of my head like i was being stabbed, and i also dont know when i want to go to the toilet it just happens, my vision had all become shaky, iwent back to the doctor and she upped my meds, i had the nerve conduction study but because i went to a carpel tunnel clinic, they only tested my hands even though id explained it was  over my body, ihave acid heartburn and bloating (probably from the amytriplyline im now taking, but now im waiting for my results and i went to leave the house the other day i had a pain in my left leg and i couldnt walk, it seems like these symptoms are getting worse, my vision is becoming shaky, and i feel so dizzy that i cant get out of bed, because i apparently had anxiety im being treated like a hypercondriact who is making it up for attention,  typing has become has become really hard and sorry for the mistakes, has anyone else suffered these symptoms and felt like they were alone, even close family have become sick of me complaining about about pain and say its all in my head, but its taking over my life and i feel less and less able to do things, Are these signs of M.S?

I have a lot of these symptoms you have.  I do have tremors when I oppose gravity, always have as far as I can remember.
The first time I was put on birth control it seemed to have started, random muscle/nerve pains in my legs and arms.  I eventually went to the dr.  He tested my thryoid and muscle enzymes.  All normal.  I did stop birth control earlier.
The pains eventually subsided a lot.
I recently gave birth and went back on the "minipill" a progestin only pill.  The pains seemed to start up more again.  then out of the blue one night I woke up and had a panic attack.  The ER did x-rays, bloodwork, retested my thyroid, CT of my chest and ultrasound of my legs. Again all normal.
About 2 weeks later I had another attack at work, the ER figured out this time that it was a panic attack and gave me ativan and I was put on anti-anxiety meds.  I felt very nervous the first couple days but that eventually subsided but I still get the pains in my arms and back and sometiimes my legs. Recently I am getting tingling in my hands too.
I don't know if the anxiety is causing the pains or vice versa or if something is causing them both.
I go back to the doctor to see what she has to say.  I suspect she will refer me to a neurologist.
I do not want to turn into a hypochondriac thinking I have MS, lymes disease, fibromyalgia all the time.
I'll keep you up to date if they tell me any good information.
take care

I also have had some of the things you have experienced - Dizziness, sharp pains etc.

Have you considered getting a cat scan or mri?

I find stress can be a powerful thing and it's best to try and keep it under control with your thoughts.

Sorry I couldn't be of more assitance to you.
