Hello Nadeem.

Temporal Lobe Epilepsy is a disease where a person gets seizures (episodes of brain dysfunction with or without some body movements). The seizure signal originates in the Temporal Lobe of the brain. ( Different lobes of the brain are - frontal, parietal, temporal, occipital)

Hypophysis is a gland in the brain which is responsible for secretion (production and release) of certain chemicals (neurotransmitters) which have different functions in the brain and rest of the body. This gland has reduced in size (atrophy) due to cell death.

Is your mother taking any anti-epileptic medication ? Are her seizures under control ?
