Neuropathic Pain???

by lambchop214, Sep 01, 2009 07:57PM
After 3 traumatic accidents, I was left with multiple HNP's in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbosacral spine, with nerve impingements, 2 cord compressions (cervical & thoracic).  I have a dx of spondylosis, arthiritis, radiculopathy in the cervical and lumbosacral areas, and severe neuropathy (no, I am not diabetic).  I am in a wheelchair now due to my inability to walk due to severe pain/muscle spasms.  My legs are extremely weak (possibly due to the T7 HNP/cord compressions...so I'm told).  No doctor will commit to any type of therapy for me except for narcotics!!!  The narcotics put me into a coma almost 2 years ago after 7 years of therapy(?) with those nasty, nasty pills.  I became addicted, taking ONLY what what prescribed, which was a lethal mix of narcotics.  I survived from my coma, had a psychotic break at that time, and I now suffer cardiac arrhythmias as an extra frill.  I will NOT take painkillers ever again nor suffer their wrath...it's deady;  knowing these facts, where do I go from here?
