No understanding no diagnosis

I have an second appointment with a neurologist I went to some time ago because of symptoms and an abnormal MRI of my brain. The abnormalities were in the grey matter. I was supposed to go back six months later for another MRI, but there was no explaination why and I was dealing with total stress so I didn't return. I was feeling confused and totally uncared for.
I have so many symptoms for an MS diagnosis. I was wondering what diseases besides MS would be indicative of these abnormalities? Is it possible that MS can be diagnosed from lesions in the Grey matter? All I want is help in understanding!!! I want answeres. Thanks for this site and your help.
