Nobody wants to tackle this question??

I know my case is difficult, so I will repost just once to see if anyone has any insight/tips.  Any comment/support would be greatly appreciated:0)

I am at a loss as to why I have this burning feet issue.  A short history:  burning toe, then feet, then up to knees with twitching muscles all over in Aug. '06.  By Dec. '06 - I could barely drive - legs weak, burning hands burning and extreme fatigue.  Had MRIs with contrast brain and spinal cord, lumbar puncture - all neg for MS.  Neuro tested for viruses - high levels for HSV-1, CMV and HHV6 - he put me on Famvir (I had no cold sore).  The burning continued until May '07, then started to subside a little for a month. It came back full force until now - it is subsiding again.  I have to have my feet cool and I am taking Pamelor, Neurontin to help.  I am getting the fasiculations again and burning increasing again.  1.5 yr of this "idiopathic" issue is really annoying.  All bloodwork normal for B6, diabetes, celiac disease, everything incl. two nerve conduction studies WNL.  Feet burn worse at night - typical idiopathic PN a Duke pain Dr. said.

I'm 32 yo female in medical profession - very annoyed with lack of research/understanding of PN.  It can be debilitating - does anyone have ANY insight????????
