Numb arm at night, and other strange symptoms

First, excuse my bad english as i'm french canadian :)

My problem started last sunday, 7 days ago.

In the night, I woke up with my left arm numb. The tip of my fingers were also very sensitive.

Monday night, same thing happened, but my fingers were ok. Only woke up 3 times because of left arm numbness.

Tuesday at noon, while eating, I became very dizzy and had difficulties swallowing my food. I left and went to the clinic, where a med told me it was probably stress and to relax...

Wednesday evening, I was listening relaxing, listening to TV, and then my left leg became very numb. I had to stay up and walk, I was feeling better that way. The numbness stays for about 2 hours.

Thursday, still had the left arm numb in the night. Then, later on this evening, I felt dizzy. Few minutes later, my left part of the back was numb, and later, my left cheek was numb too! Everything went away in 2 hours approx.

Friday and saturday night, no news symptoms, only the numb arm in the night. And last night, both arms were numb, for the first time.

I'm freaking out, could it be MS ? Or anything else I couldn't think of?

Thank you for your input,

Eric

I regularly awaken with one hand totally numb, (used to be two hands before I had an operation for Ulnar nerve entrapment and carpal tunnell syndrome on my left arm)

On two occasions I have awoken with my right arm completely unable to move, which was very disturbing the first time it happened. This too was put down to nerve entrapments in my neck this time.

I continue to suffer from problems of that sort.

What does not worry me now is numbness or pins and needles that comes when I lie. or move into certain positions as it seems very indicative to even a lay person like me of pinched nerves. I suffer from feintness too if I get up suddenly, apparantly this can be caused by whatever is compressing the nerves to be compressing the arteries too and limiting the blood supply to the brain.

These are all the explanations of my GP and a physiotherapist. It does not stop me worrying about other neurological abnormalities that might be presenting this way, I do not suppose it will stop you worrying about it either.
