Numbness & Pain are Unbarable

Okay:  List of All that has gone wrong since 1991

Lost hearing due to Otisclerosis
2-miscarriages
Hemoraging after 1st born
TIA at 35
Low platelet of 75,000
High Anticardiolipin 4 months after TIA (they never tested for that until then)
Couldn't do MRI until years later because of ear implant (then normal)
2001-Transient areas of hyper-sensitive nerve pain & eventual numbness
4 areas still numb (foot, big toe, hip, etc.) but not a real bother...UNTIL:
10-days ago...Left hand, fore-finger...the tip started to go numb...thought I burned it, numbness moved down hand, to thumb, now middle finger, down the back of hand....
Brain MRI was negative & No it is not Carpal Tunnel...

Please Help Me.  My toe, my foot, my hip, I can live with...I can't live without my fingers and hand...Typing, buttoning, everything...impossible...

In addition to this recent onset of numbness, severe pain in both elbows & left shoulder joints.

Please help me prepare with questions, possibilities, etc.  I will FINALLY get to see a Nuerologist...but he is a new one, my original one retired and the one I started to see after that is so crowded, they stack patients so tight, he never gets to REALLY listen...

Hi there.

This can be a primary neuropathy which can be related to nutritional deficiencies or stress.  Or the nerves can get affected by some autoimmune diseases such as lupus.  Also, your history of anticardiolipin positivity means that you are predisposed to blood clot formation, that can also affect the blood supply of your various tissues and organs.  This can be manifested as pain, and all the other symptoms that you are presently experiencing.

When you get to your neurologist, pls do ask him/her regarding these possibilities and hopefully get the appropriate treatment.

I asked a walk in clinic to check my CDC & platelet that showed all normal with no clotting.  Could that show normal & no clotting, But still affect blood supply to tissues, organs?  I think it is the nerves because the other areas were either injured areas like broken bone.  Or, there had been a Hypersensitive nerve for months & months.  You couldn't move or touch the area without an electrical spark feeling, until it ultimately began the numbing process.  All areas stayed numb.  My Big concern...that is what will happen to my hand and fingers.  The only difference...the only injury on my finger was a hangnail just days before.

What tests should I ask him to do?  I had the nerve conduction without notable concerns.  Would an EMG show something more?

Lupus is not something they have ever found with me, they called mine Primary APS.

So my questions seem partially for the Neuro Dr for the nerves, but also for a Rheum Dr for APS and what it might be doing nerves, joints, muscles, tendons, etc.

WHAT Tests do I ask WHICH Dr. to perform???
