Numbness, tingling in my arms, legs, fingers and toes adn now I'm starting to loose my ability to move them...should I be worried?

Okay.  So it started with migraines...the type A migraines with all the neurological side effects.  Now I am starting to experience numbness and tingling i my hands and feet and arms and legs.  It happens every day at least 5-10 times aa day and may have nothing todo with my migraines, but it is very uncomfortable and frustrating.  Just now, it happened in my right hand and when I tried to stretch my thumb out it wouldnt stretch... kind of hard to explain.  It felt almost heavy like it was to heavy to lift.  I could get it to stretch out but when I released th tension, instead of laying down, it snapped back to underneath my fingers.  I cant explain it better than that but it is freaking me out big time.  II work full time and am in school for my masters full time as well and cant deal with anymore issues.  I am on Topomax for migraines as well as lexapro, priolosec, nuvigil, and occasionally hydrocodine for shoulder pain and Klonapin for anxiety attacks... so I wonder if this is a side effect of one of those medications or something mixing.  Please let me know if you have any suggestions because I'm freaking out here.

Some medications can hurt you more than help you. Sometimes it can be mixing a lot of different medications as well. Be careful mixing medications and you can stop any of them cold turkey because that will put your body in a kind of shock.

Hi Angie,
I have been freaking out for about a month re: buzzing/tingling in my feet. Up until yesterday, I was convinced that I have MS or some other severe neurologic disorder. It's literally all I could think about .... I was at the point that I could barely go to work.
In all my google searches on the topic, it never dawned on me to google prilosec (or omeprezole, which is the prescription name). When I did, I was amazed. Tons of people are reporting CNS (central nervous system) issues while on this drug including muscle movement/tingling, etc. Even more widely reported is increased anxiety. I'm planning on stopping the drug immediately to see if my symptoms go away. Please google prilosec and see if your symptoms match what others are saying.
Good luck.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
1) Topiramate (brand name Topamax) is an anticonvulsant drug and it does cause these side effects: paresthesia (numbness & tingling). Go to your neurologist and change the drug .
2)Escitalopram (trade names Lexapro, Cipralex) is an antidepressant of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class cause weight gain and no other marked nervous system side effects.
3)Omeprazole (INN) is a proton pump inhibitor under the brand name of priolosec does not cause any major nervous system side effects, nausea and sleep deprivation are few.
4)Armodafinil (Nuvigil) is a stimulant-like drug
5)Klonapin,Clonazepam, causes Psychomotor agitation etc.
You have to assess the side effects of your drugs near your neurologist and the symptoms and go for some changes, if it does not improve then only think about something else.
