Numbness in toes

Numbness in toes

If I am either sitting or laying down, both of my feet around my toes become numb.  It is more present in my right foot then my left.  If I am up and standing or walking around there is no problem.  When the numbness occurs I am also feeling a nagging pain right about by right butt cheek or near my lower back.  Could this be a pinched nerve?

Hi
How are you doing?
The sensation of numbness in toes, lower back or other parts it may indicate nerve damage or nerve entrapment, peripheral neuropathy, hypothyroidism, medications, or vitamin B12 deficiency or certain disorders of the central nervous system  such as restless leg syndrome or multiple sclerosis.

Signs and symptoms of peripheral neuropathy may include pain, numbness and tingling in the area affected by the nerve damage. It may also cause muscle weakness or loss of muscle control.

You should visit a neurologist stating your history and medication details.
Take care
