I am trying to figure out what is going on with myself and if anyone has had any similar symptoms. About three years ago I started feeling a numbing sensation in my arm, hands and neck. Soon after maybe about 2-3 months I started passing out, just out of no where I would be standing up and just fall to the floor. Soon after I started passing out I started shaking violently when I would pass out. The people, (my dad who is a PA, paramedics and my neighbor who is a nurse) that have seen these episodes say they are seizure. I started to see a neurologist that started me on seizure medication after trying out a few finally found something that stopped everything. (Depakote) After a severe episode I was taken into the ER for multiple seizures and was told by the ER doc who did not even see my seizures that they are not real. This was about two years ago. I myself am starting to wonder myself if they are not seizures either. The numbness is starting to come back off and on again. All of this began shortly after I had surgery for a bladdar lift. My husband and I suspect that maybe the surgery had something to do with this. Anyone with any kind of information please post and give your thoughts. By the way I am 31. When all of this started I was about 27
