The cause of numbness could be a pinched or compressed nerve . It may also be due to neuropathy caused by Diabetes, Vitamin deficiency, Toxic nerve damage, Raynaud’s phenomenon, underactive thyroid. Among the more serious causes of numbness are poor blood circulation, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, hyperventilation .
