Numbness/pain on my right leg

by Jordyn2009, Oct 07, 2009 09:33PM
I posted a question the other day and I am worried the numbness might be getting worse. I started to have numbness on my right leg about 4 inches down from my knee, to the left of my tibia. I didn't start having a little pain until today. I'm just curious what it could be.

Hi,
The cause of numbness could be a pinched or compressed nerve . It may also be due to neuropathy caused by Diabetes, Vitamin deficiency, Toxic nerve damage, Raynaud’s phenomenon, underactive thyroid. Among the more serious causes of numbness are poor blood circulation, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, hyperventilation . Please consult a physician and neurologist for examination, diagnosis and treatment. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
