Numerous Symptoms no diagnosis

I'm at my Witts end & I really feel if I can't get answers soon I will die. In 07 I noticed a lump in my calf & mild swelling, went to the GP & was told it was just fatty tissue & with massage it would go away. Swelling has since gotten worse over the years L leg is 5inches bigger than R. Had an ultrasound to check for a DVT all was regular with a good pulse, most recent in November. New symptoms last December I was on the phone & dizziness came over me, I tried to stand & kept falling to the R I did get up but fell to the R & couldn't move it was like my body shut down but I was still conscious & aware. Went to GP again she draws more blood says I'm fine & it's stress, now I have full edema in the L leg Inc Thigh, my C-Section internal scar feels as though it's ripped & my internals are just under the skin the pain feels like tearing & stinging & i curl over, still having weird seizures, & now abdo swelling to the point I look like I'm pregnant, generally unwell. GP says it could be cause by my fractured T6 & C3 but I'm not getting back pain with it. Any sort of ideas on what it may be would be something I can take back to the GP & would be highly appreciated.

This is not a fractured vertebral problem, not a stress problem, not a fatty tissue problem.  A physician needs to rule out a lymph problem, heart problem, and also do a scan to see what the lump is/was on your calf, do a blood cell count, and do liver and kidney function tests, not to mention a new workup and physical exam.  I can think of a half-dozen problems you may have, but the biggest concern you should deal with right now is how all this leg swelling is now causing pain and swelling in your abdomen and your various dizzy symptoms.  And I hope IF your regular doc is once again minimally responsive, that you will feel free to go elsewhere to get this straight, including the ER.  Your condition is rather serious and your treatment has been unacceptable.

I don't know where to begin either.  You need a good doctor.  You do not currently have one by your description.

The first thing you have to do is change your doctor. How she has been telling you you are fine all these years does not say much for her competence given the obviously abnormal symptoms. If you have another serious attack go immediately to the emergency room of your local hospital.

Thanks guys I know it's serious, I forgot to add I am 39 a smoker unfortunately (waiting before I introduce champix) & I'm overweight, though I have had the same weight since 01, a year after the birth of my last child. I've had 4 c-sections. I was taken to the Ipswich Hospital ER here in Queensland about 2 months ago for the leg, they took some bloods, an xray to rule out a PE &
sent me back to my doctor. Last visit, she told me I was to over weight to see a specialist, I looked at her weird & let it fly, I walk & do dancercise on a treadmil everyday for 2 hours, then I use 2 different cardio & body equipment for an hour + I use xbox kinect with my kids, I don't over eat, 2 meals a day, breakfast which is mainly barley max & dinner which is normally fish or chicken with vegetables, I don't eat sweet foods & I don't snack, I just went off the deep end because I know what ever this is, I'm not losing weight or toning when I should be & this warrants a specialist. I go back to see her tomorrow & I'm going to demand more from her. I have gone to other doctors but they have been useless too, I forgot to add, this time last year I bought a drop waisted dress that was 2 sizes too big, when I used it to go to the beach etc it was flowing, I tried to put it on 2 days ago & I could barely fit my breasts in it, they're bigger, the rest of me apart from the swelling is normal when in a settled state. She's put me on epilum to help the seizures but it doesn't seem to be working.

Given your weight you may have an endocrine problem. I come from a very slender family and all my children were slender. But one daughter started putting on weight although she ate no more than anyone else. She must now be about 200 lbs and she is only 5'2". So far they have found an underactive thyroid, but even that does not explain the extent of her weight gain. They are still working on it.
