Occular Migranes

I have been getting these for years but just the zig zags in my eys. Sometimes a slight headache.Can this be a sign of the blood not circulating propery, Am i subject to a stroke?

I had those and thought I was having a stroke. My doctor prescribed CALAN which I took for a month and it took are of the migranes - none since!
