Odd Muscle Spasms

I'll be laying down to rest at night or through out the day and about 1 out of 3 nights as I'm just getting relaxed and comfortable I will hear what sounds like really loud audio feed back/ glitchy noises (zoops and crackles, its hard to explain) and feel a sharp pain in my head followed by what feels like being hit. It causes my muscles to spasm and me to grit my teeth and jump and my heart rate to accelerate. It feels like I'm being hit is different parts of my body, sometimes my back, my sides and even the back of my head. There is no pain, but it makes all my muscles twitch. The other night after it had happened several times I finally got my heart rate settled down enough to relax again when suddenly I no long felt like I had control over my body. I could hear a loud 'whoosh' noise and my heart was beating so hard it felt borderline dangerous. I couldn't move my arms or legs, couldn't lift my head and couldn't say anything. I tried to yell and could only manage a slight wheeze, and tried to hit the wall but could only move my hand a little. It felt like every muscle in my body was straining. After a while it went away and I was finally able to move and get up. I was shaking and was very dizzy so I just sat and tried to get my heart rate calmed down. I was fully alert for all of these episodes and wasn't on the verge of falling asleep as I know sometimes people get a 'falling feeling.' This was much worse. Can anybody point me in the right direction??
