Okay, it was me...

Okay, it was me...

that came down with wrist drop. I had my friend ask since my hand wasn't working properly.
I've been wondering what brought this on... The Saturday Night Palsy scenario doesn't seem to fit although I do have a drinking problem. Can nerve/tissue damage such as Alcoholic Neuropathy cause wrist drop?

I do recall in the weeks following up to the injury that I had habitually been resting my head on my hand/wrist for extended periods watching TV. Could this have caused it? I assume the Radial Nerve passes through the wrist.

I am sometimes in a near state of panic over this... If it happened to my other hand I believe I would be completely disabled!
