On and off again vertigo

Hi, I am 36 years old and have issues with vertigo. My first experience was about 15 years ago. Had vertigo for about 3 days then it went away. Was back again in a year. Then went away for a long time. About 7 months ago (after a plane ride, not sure if this could have started it) my vertigo came back. I have periods of vertigo that last for a few seconds then go away till I move my head. But now I am experiencing imbalance, light headedness and what feels like floating when I look at something. My symptoms seem to go away for about a week or two, then come back. I had my second MRI done and had and ENG. My ENG was slightly abnormal but they were not able to get my vertigo symptoms to appear. (of course not). My doctor still suspects BPPV, but is not sure. Does BPPV have the other symptoms that seem to be going on constently for weeks at a time? I appreciate any advise you can give. I try doing the epley at home to see if that will help. Maybe I shouldn't
