Thank you for responding, Dr. Mathur. I am going back to a cardiologist this Wednesday and I'm also seeing my family doctor on Wednesday. Two years ago I had every test under the sun, chest x-rays, (cat scans with contrast, nuclear stress tests, EKGs, Eco Cardiogram, many ultrasounds including thyroid, so much blood work etc. & they found Mytral Valve Prolapse, slightly low blood sugar and an allergy to garlic, but I feel there is more going on.
I am having some pain in my lower left leg. I get rashes on my face around my eyes and nose all the time, I get pains in my left chest and the red hands in both hands, but sometimes only one hand or one finger.
I have been reading about Lupus. Questioning if it could be that?
I have thought about artery issues as you said. My mother was diagnosed in her 80's with a vascular disease and she always had varicose veins. However, she had 14 children. I've only had once child.
I also have breast augmentation (saline). So I have wondered if that could be part of the issue. I have had regular mammograms and they are normal.
I've always been healthy prior to the last four years. I eat very healthy compared to many people, drink very little alcohol, don't smoke and have always exercised other then taking time off hear and there. I never use to be tired all the time and could stay up until 1 am or later with no problem. Now I want have a difficult time staying up past 9:00. I feel myself fading by 6 or 7. I still get up about the same time I always have 5:30am or so.
Thanks again for you reply.
Hi!
If redness and heat is there in one hand only then in all probability it is not related to caffeine. In all probability there is deep vein thrombosis or pressure on a vein or artery. It could also be allergic reaction to something. Did you get a dopplar study (venous and arterial)? If not, please ask your doctor regarding this. Take care!
