Optic nerve tumor

I have a friend who has been told she has a brain tumor on her optic nerve.  We have gone for the MRI and are to be told the results tomarrow morning?  I was curious what the treatments are for this?  And should she geta second opinion?

I would suggest you wait for the current doctor's recommendation before you think of a second opinion.

The treatment options depend upon the size, location and the growth rate of the tumor. There are certain non surgical options these days. Your neurologist will be the best judge.
