Over 5 years, several diagnosis and still no answer!

Since 2003 I have seen several doctors with what started out as pain of the lower abdomen and now has progressed to widespread pain and numbness of the left side.  I have been given several diagnosis such as IBS, interstitial cystitis, ammenorrhea, PCOS & endometriosis to name a few.  I have been given several medications and none of them seem to work, it just keeps getting worse and as a result I have gained so much weight and started to feel numbness on my left side.  I should also mention to you that I did have a rib removed in 99 as a result of it not healing and decaying and that is the region in which has become numb.  I have also had several operations b/c my ear drum keeps rupturing and not healing.  I went to see an arthritis doctor who told me that I have carpal in my hand, costochondritis & tendonitis of my shoulders.  On top of all that I have been diagnosed with having ADD and memory loss.  I am telling you all so you know the whole story and understand how desperate I am to find a reason.  I don't think a 27 y/o should have this many problems and I strongly feel there is one central cause to all of this, for I am tired of taking almost 10 meds a day/having had almost 20 procedures and radiology tests. Hopefully by me writing this someone out there has gone through this and can lighten this load for me.  I don't expect a miracle but I am looking for help in being able to go back to a somewhat normal life where working isn't so hard for me and I can focus my mind and quite frankly I'm in debt from having to see so many doctors.  Thanks for reading and I hope someone can help.

I wish I had the answer.  The fact that you have trouble healing may be the important clue.  Everything else could be the result of that fact,whereas your doctors have been treating the result and not the cause could result in many separate diagnosis.  Just a thought......Hoping for answers for you...Zenyatta
