PNES

1-27-09 Can stress cause PNES like symptoms? I had horrific childhood, dx with Fibromyalgia, BiPolar, Sleep Apnea and C6-C7 issues due to abuse (shaken so hard by ex husband I suffered TIA), Neuro Dr ordered NPS eval and more current MRI,  I have had issues of forgetfulness, Alzheimers like issues, I am 58 and feel like I am losing my mind.  I was told I had temporal lobe epilepsy 20 years ago, then 13-14 years ago Dr saw no "evidence" of seizure disorder so meds were DC'd  Since I am on Neurotin (for mood disorder) I assume that if there was seizure activity the neurotin is taking care of it. I would appreciate any information or thoughts the forum may have regarding current plan of action my Dr is taking
