Hi,
It is common to have some discharge from the sockets following tooth extraction and usually lasts for couple of days. Kindly stop taking analgesics.
Do not try to touch the empty sockets as this aggravates pain.
Would take 7 -10 days time for complete healing if all goes well.
Hi Alec,
It is a known association to have bad breath and discharge from sockets, but you need to spit it out.
Regarding your pain, if during tooth extraction, nerve is injured, then it causes severe excruciating pain along jaw line and also radiating as headache. This pain is often not responding to analgesics.
You can take a combination of analgesics like NSAID'S and Opoid analgesics.
Hope this helps you.
Bye.
