Pain and medications

I have a neuralgia in my mouth; unfortunately many medications that I have been prescibed and taken have caused TD.
I
need to know what painkillers I can take without hurting my TD any more.    Verna2

S.O.S.
Have you doctors any idea of what is pain? where did the Hipporates Oath go to?
Is it called the hipocrisy Oath nowadays.......
I am flabbergasted to your lack of communication in person and these type of forums.

How weird, that as patient, it seems that doctors seem less informed....or know ver little after All. I called three doctors...only one checked....and told me that it written in the bible of medications.
Another one, neurologist: will check it out.....
Another one wants an urine sample...
Oh, yes, the fourth would like a body-scan....

In the meantime, I am lowering neurontin.

I took Lyrica and it is the same ****.

Better of with marihuana....

Oh, you doctors.....

I checked the website you gave me and neurontin can cause infections and fever.
My temperature is 37.5°C.                                                                                                    Verna2

I took a bblood test and my white cells show infection.
According to two doctors, it is insignificant;while another one said that I should ma body-scan.
I am a person who hardly has fever; and doctors have been amazed at that.....but, it's not reaaly high:it is 37.2°C.
So, now, I can't differentiate it between my menopause or this heat flushing in me could be fever. I am aghast .
But where does neurontin cause infections?
The third doctor wants me to make a body scan.
Could it have touched my kidneys? Liver?
Doest it mean that I have to stop?

It seems that a burning mouth happens to be a neuralgia. Go to a neurologist directly.
Don't let them use you as a guinea pig but as a person. Don't wait: time is important.
Nobody believed me and after 5 years or 6:I was no longer taken lightly. And all the neurologists tell me that when it is discovered early; it is easier to handle.

Hi, thanks for answering. But, I read about botox injections and something else ....with medications that I am avoiding. For the moment, I take neurontin, and lamotrigine. And I was on morphine patches which I decided to stop.
The doctor prescibed Trazadone which will help me sleep But, it is unfriendly to tardive dyskinesia;so, I plan to stop it as well......I appreciate your answering.
It is hell....
At times, I feel so low that hope to die.
Oh, I forgot: I am taking vit.E, lecithine, maganese, and melatonine for my tongue.
         gratefully, Verna2

Hi, well you can take tramadol or oxycodone, these drugs don't lead to tardive kinesia. They are opioid derivative and quite effective in neural pain.

Hello dear,
As such there is no treatment for tardive dyskinesia.Only reducing your drugs to minimum therapeutic level may help. You should consult your neurologist and follow him.
