  : Dear Raj
: Although you did not mention in your message the age of your father and the way his symptoms started and progressed, it seems that the likely cause(s)of his problems are neurological in nature.
: Based on the little information you gave, the possibilities are the following:
: 1. The tremor and the trouble walking could be part of the manifestations of Parkinson disease.
: 2. The neck pain and the walking difficulties may be due to compression of the spine cord in the neck area.
: 3. The "paralysis" in the left side of the body, although transient, may be due small stroke or so called transient ischemic attack (TIA). This is ussually due to a decrease in blood flow to small area of the brain, and may lead at times to more permanent paralysis.
: Based on the above, I would suggest the following:
: 1. A complete neurological reevaluation. This could be arranged at the Cleveland Clinic, Department of Neurology (216-444-5449)
: 2. MRI of the brain and especially of the cervical spine.
  : I hope this helps.
  : Good luck

Can we dig out from the recent happenings.

                Why so ?

Dear Raj
The sudden weakness in the left side of body could be due to recent stroke as I mentioned in my previous reply. The only and best way to image it is through MRI. But if MRI is not available, a CT scan may be helpful.
If his hypertension is not controlled, I would strongly suggest  that your Internist start him on High Blood Pressure medication, because hypertension is an important cause of strokes.
Another possibility to explain the tremor is what it is called Essential tremor that can be aggravated with age. Ask your Neurologist about it and about its possible treatment.
I hope that these answers would prove helpful to your dad.
Good luck
