Pain on the Right Side of my Head, Behind my Ear, Cerebellum Area?

Hi - my name is Ashleigh. I am an 18 year old, white, female. In the middle of November I was diagnosed with Scoliosis and for the past 3 weeks now I have been having a sharp pain, on the right side of my head, about 4 inches from behind my ear (I think that's where the cerebellum is located). The pain comes and goes, most of the time it is between 3-5 second intervals. At first it would happen 2 or 3 times a day, but now it happens 1 or 2 times an hour. I have already scheduled an appointment with my doctor to discuss the matter, but I wanted to see if anyone else was going through the same thing, and if they found out any results. I am kind of nervous because just last year my mom was diagnosed with MS, so I am hoping that this is not the case.
